Recipe View

For example, wool can change color and show other variations of the same ore using the mineral dictionary of a forge (this cycle can be stopped by holding shift).

Press the recipe when you hover over an item, will display the recipes that include the item. Scrolling or using the arrows at the bottom of the pop-up window will scroll through the recipes available for this method. To make changes to the different ways you can get this item, click the up arrow in the pop-up box. The player can go to the last process using the return key.

Usage View

When the player presses the usage view while hovering an item, the Not Enough Items 1.7.10 will display the usage of the items. This function is quite similar to the Recipe view.

Item Search Box

The item search area is the black border rectangle at the bottom of the inventory screen. Only items containing text in the item search field will be displayed in the item plane.

To start typing, you must first click on the search field. Right-click on the search field and it will be ready to type. No input sensitivity. Any search period is saved and loaded when the player restarts Minecraft. If you double-click on the search box, it will turn yellow and highlight the items on the screen to match the search you type in the box. To Turn this off, double-click the search box again.

Item Subsets

It is a drop-down menu found on the top of the NEI screen. The subsets menu will display many different grouped sets of items.

Enchanted selector

When you press the enchanted key (X by default), it will reveal the graphical interface. This allows the player to place an item in the slot and select upgrades and levels, which can be used for the enchantment table. The magic level can go up to a maximum of 10. You can activate and deactivate it by clicking on a spell.

Cheat and Creative Modes

On selecting creative mode on NEI systems, the player’s play mode is converted to creative. Regaining control of the game’s functions and damaging the immune system. In cheat mode, the player receives unlimited resources by clicking on the items in the item plane.

    • Trash

      When the Trash mode is activated, clicking on an object will destroy/delete it. Shift-Clicking on the item will delete all the same type items from the inventory system, including an open GUI inventory.
      Warning: By Shift-clicking on the Trash button, all items in the player’s inventory will be deleted.

    • Rain

      Activate or deactivate the rain. Permanently deactivate rain with a right-click.

    • Creative

      Click the C button to switch to creative mode, creative +, adventure and survival mode.

    • Magnet

      If the magnetic mode is activated, any items that dropped within the player’s view will get attracted to them.

    • Utility Button

      The 4 buttons you found with the sun and the moon icons are the time setting buttons. With this, you can advance the time without relying on the world time. Right-Clicking the time set button can skip over that period of time.

    • Save States

      The mod offers you seven save states, that is capable of saving the entire player’s armor and inventory.
